A personal experience

Every pizza should be a personal pizza. Because it’s a personal experience.

This is the moment. Sitting here with my girls, laughing, listening to the rain tap on the roof. With our pizzas in front of us. And I’m enjoying it. This pizza is so good. The crust of mine. The sauce from hers. We are laughing and I keep thinking how much I am enjoying this.

I’m in Southern Italy, in a small town, eating my Neapolitan style pizza.

Last time it wasn’t like this. In Naples there was too much pressure. I had too many expectations that I couldn’t enjoy the moment.

But this one is perfect because I didn’t expect it. Thrifting, walking in the rain. Sitting by the fire and eating delicious pizza. Having wonderful conversation.

Sometimes it’s not what you expect.
