A little rest, a lot of shopping!

Tuesday was a nice relaxing day. I think I needed one low key day and I’m realizing that is helpful for me when I travel. Nothing too big was planned. I planned to stay home in the morning to let the carpet cleaners in. My main task for the day was to keep the kittens in the bathroom and not let them sneak out. I think they were having too much fun as I would get one in and chase the other as she snuck out.
I hung out on the back patio while the cleaners did their thing. Then I decided it was time to go out. Karolina mentioned I could walk to the outlets. I put it in my GPS and it took me to the woods. But no worries, I was able to figure it out and cut through the path.
I decided to do my Christmas shopping and it was the best idea. It’s so much more fun to shop for people when there’s no rush. I was able to wander through the stores and think of what different people would like. Also, Karolina was so sweet to offer to drive up the gifts because she was planning to drive to Pittsburgh the next week for Christmas.
The rest of the day was just as relaxing. Playing with the kittens and we made dinner together. I also learned a fun trick of how to make salmon in the microwave.
Then we watched Chariots of fire and did a puzzle. The puzzle was too funny because it was 1000 pieces and so overwhelming. We started sorting and it was taking over the table so we started putting the pieces in bowls and cups. After a 2.5 hour movie I think we sorted half of them.
