Selah

I’m calling this my “Selah” season in Rome.

I’ve been reading through the Psalms and the word get grabbing my attention. I decided to look up what it meant.

“Selah”

And I’ve realized that it was God is calling me into for these upcoming weeks in Rome. I get to rest. I get to pause. A time to reflect on the previous season before beginnning the next chapter. But also a time to rest with Him. To walk slowly down the streets and pray. To take the long way or go slow, just because I can. Time to slow down and listen to Him.

I write this as I walk back to the apartment. My eyes always looking up at the orange glow of the buildings. Thanking God with every step and excited for what he has for me in this season.
