A walk everyday

Oh hey! There’s a new driveway.

I baked through this old cookbook

My scale, do you ask. Oh don’t even look.

12:30 has come, it’s time for lunch bunch

It’s time to hear giggles and lots of munch crunch

I smile with my eyes, behind my new mask

Cute boys stay six feet, but I still hope they’ll ask.

Easter is coming, I simply can’ wait

My Lord is now Risen, in my room I’ll celebrate.

I found a new love, his name might be Zoom

Keep swiping Grammie, you’ll see everyone’s bedroom.

I’ve read every book that’s been on my shelf

I’ve learned I’m quite funny when I’m all by myself.

I’m down to one roll of Charmin ultra strong

I do have some spare towels, no that’d just be wrong.

Quarantine. A poem.
