Contract

Here is the official contract we all signed, both players and coaches. The code of conduct is the written form of expectations that are well known on the team. We reviewed these contracts that we had been creating for the past two years together and kept the contracts for the season.

Avonworth Girls Soccer

Mission: We play because we have been given a gift and we have chosen to use it to create a family.

Values:

1. We support each other on and off the field.

2. We hold each other accountable through, trust, positivity and honesty.

3. We play with heart for our family.

4. Sacrifice as dawgs for the ultimate future goals.

5. Dawg energy. Yurd.

Leadership: Encouraging, positive, someone to talk to/friend, trust, 100% work ethic and attitude, respect, lead with words and actions, leaders on and off the field, example character, expect greatness, unite the team, understanding, constructive criticism, you and others accountable, treat others equally, empathetic, patient, hope, teacher in how and why, team above themselves.

Code of Conduct:

1. I will treat my coaches, teammates, other players, refs, and spectators with respect at all times.

2. I will be a positive role model and encourage good sportsmanship.

3. My character will be above reproach on and off the field (in the classroom, on the field, at work, and online).

4. I will speak to my teammates with positive and encouraging language and tone. I will not swear at, bully, or haze my teammates. I will not ridicule or yell at a teammate for making a mistake at practice or in a game.

5. I will listen to my coaches and do what is asked of me.

6. I will give 100% while playing on the field and I will stand on the sidelines, pay attention to the game, and cheer on my teammates.

7. I understand that I am responsible for my equipment.

8. I understand that I must be on time for all practices and notify a coach in a timely manner if I need to miss or be late to a practice or game with an excuse. At practices I am not to wear jewelry and only wear the official Avonworth gear.

9. I understand that I am to write an encouraging note to my assigned SSP (Secret Soccer Pal) on game days.

10. I will support the team mission and values at all times.
